More YouTube links being added

I’m in the process of collecting as many links as I can to YouTube videos of specific IGaS episodes or show segments and adding those links to the episode guide. Several dozen such links to videos have been added to the guide already. If you like, you can post here to inform me of additional YouTube links, although I may already be aware of them and have simply not got around to them yet. I also have the capacity to add videos. If you’ve ever written to this site because you or your relatives appeared on the show on a specific date, and there is not already a YouTube video of that episode, I hope to be able to provide one in the near future.

Hi, can you post the part of episode 351 dated March 4, 1959 that features Joanne Trefethen, the woman who built her own airplane in her house? Her 85th birthday is coming up and this would be the most fantastic present.
    Thank you so much,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was just able to watch the Dec. 12, 1966 video of my mom that you posted! I just called her (we live in different states) and was able to share that moment with her! It’s priceless!

My Aunt, Ruth Tucker, appeared on I’ve Got a Secret when she was teenager in the 1960′s. Her secret was that she designed and sewed the dresses that the Bess Myerson and Betsey Palmer wore on the show that night. I would love to post on Facebook to honor my Aunt Ruthie who passed away 33 years ago when she was a very young 32 years old. She was quite a talent. The date was 6/22/1960, Show 419. While they still guessed her secret, it would still be priceless to see her after all these years and share with those who weren’t around to view it originally. Thank you.

I’m looking for the segment of the episode from 11/17/63 which has 8 year old Ronnie Kroll on as guest. Ronnie’s secret was that he was about to take over the lead in the Broadway production of the musical “Oliver”. On the show he also sings a song from the musical. I’ve just recently been able to track Ronnie down while putting together the fascinating story of his early life at ages 8/9 and the amazing things he saw and took part in. (Ronnie also appeared on The Ed Sullivan show a few months later, the same night the Beatles were first on.) Also of note, this episode of “I’ve Got a Secret” aired only a few days before the JFK assassination. Thanks.

  7. Riley Jones says:

Correction – the Oliver episode I requested aired on 11/18/63.

    Hi.

Can you post a clip for Week 613 on 03/09/1964? Specifically:

Guest Connie Stevens: In the few minutes since she did the show’s intro, Stevens has come down with food poisoning, so Betsy takes her place. What appears to be a group of mannequins is on stage modeling current fashions. “I had a cup of coffee with one of these dummies today … One of them is a real live girl” (Gail del Corral). At the end, everyone strikes a pose and holds it during the credits.

    Thanks!

I was always a HUGE fan of “I’ve Got a Secret!” Any chance you have episode #447, which aired 1/4/61? I was seven years-old at the time, and was lucky enough to have been in the audience for that one with my parents. I distinctly remember the man who had the smallest electric motor in the world. I recall someone on stage (I believe it was either Henry Morgan or Bill Cullen) saying something to the effect of, “That would make a great flea vibrator.” I had no idea what that meant, but I remembered it all these years. I also remembered seeing Keenan Wynn.

  19. Carol Jones says:

can you post episode Week 328, 9/24/58
Panel: Bill, Betty White, Henry, Betsy

Sandra Keister, Norman, OK, and Casey Jones, Oklahoma City, who are engaged: “I am the only girl in a boys’ school” (studying to be a civil engineer); “I am the only boy in a girls’ school” (studying to be a nurse). Betty guesses again, going last.

K.C. Jones was my father; He passed away in August of this year, It would mean so much to me. He never did get to become a nurse and eventually him and Sandra broke up.

  25. Sara Schneider says:

Looking for the first segment of the Dec. 16, 1959 show.

“Brothers George and Edward Pupp, brothers Aloysius and Joseph Geiger, all from WI: “We married their sisters.” Henry guesses, going second. The wives, Agnes and Ethel Pupp and Catherine and Margaret Geiger, then appear, and the panel guess who is married to whom (only Bess gets one right, undoing an earlier guess).”

Anna, one of the Geiger sisters not involved was the wife of my great-great uncle. I’ve also known one of the grandchildren of one Ethel and Edward since I was 3. I’d love to show her the clip.

  26. Brian Tolzmann says:

My dad was one of the kids from week 356 (Aired 4/8/59) with the secret “We were all born in cars on the Garden State Parkway” My poppy (grandfather) was the only father to appear with all of the children because my nanny refused to take pictures, let alone appear on TV. I’ve never seen the episode and was wondering if you could please upload it to YouTube. My poppy has since passed and I never had the chance to meet him, I would love to see him in something more than a photograph and I would love to surprise my dad with the fact that he is on YouTube! Thanks!

My wife’s uncle, Tony Leonardo, was on “I’ve Got A Secret” in Week 491, 6 November 1961. He wore a $3,000 dollar suit … made of 3,000 dollar bills. He still has the suit. They’ve talked about it for years and would all be thrilled to see it if you’ve got it for YouTube.

Mrs, Doris Baum was my neighbor in Whitestone, Queens, NY. We knew that she had modeled for the “Standing Liberty” US Quarter. A very classy lady; I was a boy and she’d hire us to mow the lawn, rake leaves and shovel snow.

May 24, 2013 – 11:00 AM – This Comment is to Sargeant John P. Sheerin who was Sgt. in Charge of the combined Drill Team that performed on the May 14, 1958 “I’ve Got a Secret Show” in New York City. I was the Lead-Man on the Navy Cerimonial Guard Drill team and had the Honor to be choosen to be on that combined Drill Team that you commanded. Sargeant, you did one Super Job of training us and calling commands on the show. It was a Great Honor and one of the Highlights of my life to be on that Drill Team and be trained by someone who was The Best. Was you with us at the Pentagon after the show and after returning back to our base to see a movie of that drill on the I’ve Got a Secret Show? We did not make one mistake in the Drill. I know everyone on that Drill Team was as Gong-Ho as I was and very Good at what they were doing, but I atrubute our success to you because of the way you trained us and gave commands.
Thanks for the Great Memories. I’m from Kansas, but now live in North Mississippi where my Wife is from.
Would like to E-Mail with you – my E-Mail address is; Allen.Sparks71@yahoo.com
    Kind Regards, Allen Sparks
