“Spill It!”

Here are some of the secrets, for those who are interested. This is not an episode guide, these are in no particular order, and is not in any way complete or ever will be. It’s just to show some examples of what kinds of things they have on the show. Some of them are very interesting and entertaining. The show sort of grows on you. At first Amy Yasbeck seemed really stuck up, but after watching a few shows I realized that she just plays very seriously (kind of like how Henry Morgan seems like a grumpy jerk at first, but then you realize it’s just his schtick).

Other things about the show:

There are certain celebrities who appear in a lot of episodes as Stephanie Miller’s “neighbor.” Supposedly they live in the “apartment” next door, and often drop in for a visit (the set for OxyIGaS looks like an apartment). These celebrities change from time to time, such as Morgan Fairchild, Florence Henderson (Mrs. Brady), Charo, etc.

Sometimes a guest will come on the show and their secret will involve the “secret box.” They have brought something with them in the box, and the panel has to guess what it is. These are some of the things that have been in it.

  • The rarest tortoise in the world
  • The oldest pair of Levi jeans in the world
  • The original Lone Ranger’s mask
  • Most valuable nickel in the world (worth $2.5 million)
  • Marilyn Monroe’s earrings
  • The bullet-riddled shirt of Clyde Barrow (of Bonnie and Clyde)
  • Fonzie’s Leather Jacket from Happy Days
  • Houdini’s Straight Jacket
  • The Ruby Slippers from Wizard of Oz

They have had some celebrities on the show, sometimes with secrets of their own, and sometimes the panel simply has to guess who they are (the panel is blind-folded, of course).
